New UL Ragin Cajun Coach Mark Hudspeth has issued yet another challenge to all UL Ragin Cajun Fans. Initially, the new coach issued a challenge to the the UL faithful to beat their previous season ticket record. Well, the faithful listened, and actually surpassed the previous record by over 600 season ticket sells. Now, "Coach Hud" has issued yet another challenge to the faithful as we rapidly approach the season opener this Saturday evening, September 17th, at Cajun Field.

Coach Hud and his staff are encouraging the UL faithful to come out to Cajun Field this Saturday in droves. The coaches and players would love to see a "Sea Of Red" Saturday Night as they open the gates to Cajun Field for the very first time this season. The Cajuns will host another in-state school Saturday evening, Nicholls State. After their victory last Saturday night, Coach Hud said, "Our kids are going to be disappointed if that joker is not packed to the wall."

The coach would go as far to say that if there are not 30,000 fans in the stadium this Saturday night, it would be a let down. Thus, coach has issued a challenge to all of those who have attended the university in the past, and those currently attending the unviersity to get out there Saturday night and cheer on your Ragin Cajun Football team.

The record attendance at Cajun Field is 41,357 against Southern in 2009. The coach and players say that they would love to see the stands painted with red, and have both end zones packed with fans sitting in the grass.

The game Saturday at Cajun Field has kickoff set for 6pm, and the entire game can heard here on Hot 107-9!!! On a side note, we will have the UL Ragin Cajun Cheerleaders in studio Friday morning for an On-Air Pep Rally as we hope to not let the first coach down in his request...or should we sat demand.
