Help Give Back To U.S. Soldiers This Holiday Season

While we all begin to prep for the upcoming holiday season, still so many young brave men and women are serving our great country overseas. Although the holiday season is almost here, the fight must go on in some parts of the world. Well, one local business here in Acadiana is doing their part to get holiday treats to all of those that are away from their families during this holiday season.

The Lemoine Company of Lafayette is giving you the opportunity to give back to those serving overseas. They are seeking donations for their treats for troop's holiday care package program which is entering into it's fourth year. Last year, this local company sent nearly 250 care packages overseas, and they hope to build upon that number this year. Hence, that is where we all come into play. Acadiana is known for it's generosity, and here is one way you can deliver the true meaning of Christmas to so many that are away from their family.

Items such as magazines, deodorant, coffee, candy, socks, snacks and much more can be donated to the Lemoine company. All of these small things are certainly going to go a long way as so many of our young men and women are serving abroad. Living in a "war zone" is not comfortable at all, but we can all ease the tensions this holiday season by making such a small donation.
