Hot 107-9 Visits Sugarland Elementary’s ‘Field Day’

Chris Logan and Chris Reed attended Sugarland Elementary today for their annual "field day" as another school year comes to an end. The students were awarded with the "field day" because they reached their goal in reading a certain amount of books throughout the school year. While the students and teachers enjoyed the music from their favorite radio station, there were also several designated stations for the kids to have fun. All of the students danced, ate watermelon and pop corn, had sno balls, and event competed in various games and activities. At the end of the field day, several students had their name pulled from the "hat" and walked away with various prizes.

We would like to thank the students and staff for inviting us onto their campus, and we wish all of them a safe summer, and a FUN summer!!! By the way, the staff here in New Iberia knows how to "Wobble."
