Members of the Hot Crew were back on the UL Campus today to take part in the annual "Block Party" hosted by the University as a way of saying Welcome Back to all of the students. The event was held on St. Mary street this year, and seemed very promising---until the skies opened up over the campus.

Before the dark clouds found their way over the campus of UL, we were giving students "Geaux Cajuns" signs in preparation of the first UL home football game against Lamar. We would like to say THANK YOU to UL for the invitation to the "Block Party" and we look forward to being part of "Ragin' Roar" in the days ahead.

On a side note, we would also like to extend our thanks to the entire student body at UL. We were informed by University officials that after they conducted a student body survey, HOT 107-9 was voted as the MOST LISTENED to radio station on the campus of UL!! We can't thank you enough, and we look forward to "holding on to that rope" with all of YOU in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead!!!!
