If you love hot sauce, then Acadian Village is where you need to be this weekend.

Specialty hot sauce makers from around the globe are making their way to the Hub City this weekend for the first Louisiana Hot Sauce Festival.

Anyone who loves hot sauce will be able to experience dozens of new blends and spicy concoctions that will be available for purchase this weekend.

Festival director Dana Romero tells KPEL they will have more than 100 vendors, and it won't just be just about the sauce.

There will be 30 different hot sauce makers that will showing their wares along with nine bloody mary mix makers.

In addition to all of the hot sauce, there will be arts and crafts makers that will be sharing their designs at Acadian Village.

Romero says there will be a variety of vendors including CaJohn's Fiery Foods out of Columbus, Ohio.  This company has been crafting hot sauces for about 13 years.

The festival will happen this Saturday and Sunday.  The festival open each day at 10 o'clock and will close at 6 o'clock.
