Hurricane Patricia makes Katrina look like a sprinkle.

This is one scary looking storm! But how will Louisiana be effected? According to Meteorologist Rob Perillo at KATC

I'm expecting a moderate to high impact weather event Sunday into Monday for Acadiana & Louisiana as low pressure draws on the remnants of Patricia's moisture producing the threat of flooding rains from Eastern Texas into Louisiana. All models indicate that a 5-10" rain in isolated areas will be likely somewhere in the region along with near tropical storm-like conditions, including some coastal flooding and gale wind gusts offshore. Here's the RPM Model surface solution Sunday, along with the GFS and Euro Model rain accumulation outputs...heaviest rains will likely be in the Sunday/Monday time-frame. Stay up on the forecast and conditions this weekend please!

She's supposed to hit Mexico sometime this afternoon into the night.
