The Second Annual BBR Hygiene for Humanity Toiletries Drive runs March 15 through Friday, April 15.

In the drive's second year, BBR be collecting everything from mini hotel shampoos to tube socks, all to benefit Stella Maris Center, which serves the homeless
community in Lafayette.

BBR is promoting the drive through social media, regular media and word of many mouths. There are drop-off spots at all BBR locations as well as Whole Foods Market in Lafayette and Townsquare Media.

They also offer pick up for anyone who calls. But in order to meet their 2016 goal of doubling last year’s total and donating 1,200 lbs (cause why not?) BBR needs your help.

1. DONATE YO SELF:
Check out the attached flier! I bet you’ve got some of that stuff lying around. Or if not, a trip to the dollar store should be able to get you quite a few items for not too much dough.

a. OR
if you don’t want to do your own shopping, you can give us cash and we’ll take care of buying the items. It’ll be like supermarket sweep (but at the dollar store)!

2. SHARE DAT:
Share the flier and use the enclosed copy to email your friends,
family and clients.
a. Post the graphic via Facebook, Share BBR’s FB post about it, or link to
the post on BBR’s blog that gives info about the drive (with the flier available there for download).
b. Blast it via other social platforms like Snapchat or Insta or whatever selfie machine the kids are using these days.

3. BE A BAG LADY (OR LAD):
We’ve got paper bags with the flier attached (ready for Tuesday) that others can use to collect items in their offices or shops. These can be dropped off at any location. Just call and request!
