I-10 Lane Closures Happening Over The Weekend

There will be two lane closures happening on Interstate 10, in both directions, over the weekend.

First, beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Friday and lasting until 6:00 a.m. Monday, the West bound right lane of I-10 one quarter mile past Exit 139 will be closed to repair the approach slabs at Railroad Overpass. Traffic officials say drivers can expect heavy delays. An alternate route: take Exit 151 to LA 415 North, to US 190 West, to I-49 US 167 South, back to I-10.

Also, beginning at 12:00 a.m. on Saturday until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, there will be single lane closures on I-10 East bound that will take place between mile marker 141 to mile marker 136. This work will be to patch the roadway. An alternate route: take I-49 US 167 North, to US 190 East, to LA 415 South, back to I-10.

Both lane closures are happening in Iberville Parish and are both subject to weather.
