Swedish duo Icona Pop stormed the stage at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards tonight (May 19), performing their smash hit 'I Love It (I Don't Care).'

The twosome were introduced by Carly Rae Jepsen, who gushed about her love for them. The Canadian songstress isn't the only one who loves the pair, as their song is currently parked in the No. 3 slot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Not bad, not bad at all.

Dressed in leather outfits and dancing like no one was watching, Icona Pop were jumping up and down and engaging the crowd. It was a full-service performance that transformed a music industry awards show into a club rave for a handful of minutes. Normally, dance music doesn't always translate when performed live, but Icona Pop had no such problems getting the message across. We felt every note of their super fun perf.

It was cute how you could hear their accents while they sang in the live environment. Overall, though, 'I Love It (I Don't Care)' is one of those songs that just takes off and has a life of its own.

Icona Pop proved why they have what it takes to make a huge splash in America.
