Instagram Account Posts Photos Of Miserable Men Forced To Shop With Wives And Girlfriends

Ever since males, females, and retail stores have all co-existed on this earth, it has been common knowledge that men (or at least most of us) hate shopping.

I'm not talking about going to stores to make purchases. I'm talking about the type of retail therapy that will have a man in the mall for hours on end. Sometimes we just want to sit around and watch football, or get some yard work done around the house.

But, it never fails - just before we sit down to enjoy that marathon of DVR'd shows compiled all week, we get dragged along an insanely boring shopping excursion with our significant other that is always -- for lack of a better term -- sad.

It's such a universal catastrophe that Miserable_Men, a new Instagram account, was created with the sole purpose of capturing these defeated moments and posting them for all to see.

The pictures range from men who are overwhelmed by the bags they are forced to carry,

...to others who have been reduced to aimlessly following their mate around from shop to shop.

Some are even photographed sleeping in public, or as I like to call it, "escaping an unfortunate reality."

Some have even mastered the art of holding the bags, AND catching the shuteye, at the same.. damn... time.

Heads up fellas. Football season is O-V-E-R, and If you end up shopping with your girl, be strong and fight through it -- or get reeeeally clever with your excuse game.
