Fitchburg State's Kewan Platt threw an elbow deserving of a WWE contract.

In their loss to Nichols, Platt seemingly looks back at the referee to see if he's looking, and throws what could be the cheapest shot in college basketball history.

After the Nichols player shoots and sinks a three-pointer, Platt goes in for the kill. What he didn't know was that another referee saw it all happen. He blew the whistle and handed Platt his second technical foul of the game, which resulted in his ejection.

Many people online were calling for Platt's suspension, and Fitchburg State responded appropriately.

Platt has been suspended and barred from campus indefinitely.

“The Fitchburg State community is appalled by the conduct displayed during Tuesday night’s home basketball game,” Fitchburg State athletic director Matthew Burke said in a statement. “The player involved has been indefinitely suspended from the team and barred from campus, effective immediately. His behavior is antithetical to our community values and good sportsmanship. Fitchburg State does not tolerate behavior that violates those standards. The case is being reviewed at the student conduct level for consideration of further sanctions.”

The player that was fouled stayed in the game, and actually took, and made, the two free throws for the technical foul.
