J. Cole’s Twitter Hacked, Filled With Offensive Comments

The excuse of a celebrity's Twitter account being hacked after they publish something wild is all too common, and more often than not can be met with healthy skepticism. But when J. Cole's feed was suddenly populated with a slew of messages that were both inconsistent with Cole's usual tone and out of bounds for anyone, let alone the typically respectful rapper, things seemed particularly amiss.

"Kim Kardashian really pullin a publicity stunt smh she pretending she got robbed," one tweet read on Monday night (Oct. 3), making reference to the recent news report that Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel. Upon learning the news, Kanye West cut his Meadows performance short, with Cole himself performing earlier in the day, telling the crowd, “Before I get out of here, listen. This is my last show for a very long time.”

A couple more of the hacker-penned tweets can be seen in the gallery above, with one reading, "Be on the look out for my new song 'Smokin On Dat Phizzurp Pack,'" which likewise sounds completely foreign coming from Cole. The proposed song title alludes to pro gamer Phillip “Phizzurp” Klemenov who was killed in a car crash just this past weekend. References are as well made to Internet personalities Keemstar and Jacob Sartorius, so the interests of the author seem a good deal removed from those of Cole.

The tweets have since been deleted, leaving Cole's last message on the social media platform which dates back to early March. His Instagram is similarly sparse.
