After teasing the tune on Twitter, Jacquees has pulled up with his "Trip (Quemix)," a remix of Ella Mai's "Trip." He dropped the track yesterday (Sept. 1)

Crooning his heart out over the mellow, piano-driven instrumental, the Georgia-bred crooner reminds everyone why he's considered one of the best young talents R&B has to offer.

"Girl you dodging bullets tryna play me (you know it)/Then I'm left to deal with how you made me," he belts out on the track, reimagining some of Ella Mai's lyrics in the process.

"Girl, it ain't cool how you be playing (what, right, yeah)/And I don't dig how you keep me waiting (talk to 'em, Jacquees)/Your feelings switch up too much, girl it's confusing," the talented crooner continues in another part of the song.

Jacquees is now more than two months removed from dropping off 4275, an album that includes features from Chris Brown, Young Thug, Trey Songz and more. While the tracklist is definitely heavy on features, Jacquees, with his soulful vocals and densely romantic tracks, was, no doubt, the star of the show. Here's to hoping he keeps giving us these loosies before he drops a new project.
