The anticipated Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez on Me officially hits theaters today (June 16), but unfortunately, the film is already facing some backlash. While 50 Cent shared his candid thoughts on the movie earlier today, Jada Pinkett Smith, who is portrayed by Kat Graham in the film, is blasting the production for telling false stories.

The actress was a close friend of the late 'Pac when he was alive, and the two shared an incredibly special bond that the movie tried to cover. Unfortunately, the writers allegedly got some of their facts wrong, as Smith tweeted some clarification about what she believes was portrayed falsely in the film.

"Forgive me... my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth." she said on Twitter. "Pac never read me that poem. I didn't know that poem existed until it was printed in his book. Pac never said goodbye to me before leaving for LA. He had to leave abruptly and it wasn't to pursue his career. I've never been to any of Pac's shows by his request. We never had an argument backstage. The reimagining of my relationship to Pac has been deeply hurtful."

While this would probably cause some concern for Graham and actor Demetrius Shipp Jr., who plays the role of Tupac, Jada made sure to commend both of them on their acting in the film and let them know it's neither of their faults for the alleged false storylines.

"To @KatGraham and @Dshippjr this is no fault of yours. Thank you for bringing so much heart and spirit to your roles," Smith states. "You both did a beautiful job with what you were given. Thank you both."

We'll have to wait until the end of the weekend to hear back about the overall reception of the movie, but so far, things are looking a bit mixed. Yet despite the feedback, the film had a huge opening night, raking in $3 million and beating out Cars 3.
