Jaden Smith continues to do a bunch of really cool stuff. Taking the stage at this weekend's 2017 Rolling Loud California festival, the blooming rap star/actor turned in a dope live rendition of his SYRE cut, "Icon," before moonwalking across the stage.

Spitting in front of a packed audience, Smith begins sliding backward even as his feet appear to be going in the opposite direction. So, yeah, he legitimately pulled off Michael Jackson's famous move pretty smoothly. Speaking with the folks at Revolt, Jaden says he learned from his mom, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and, of course, watching MJ.

"I like to think that my mom taught me how to moonwalk, 'cause, she's amazing at dancing," Jaden says in the short interview, which is interspersed with clips of him moonwalking. "And I would always watch Michael [Jackson], I would always watch Michael when I was young, and he would be moonwalking and—I don't know. I just picked it up."

Elsewhere during his set, Jaden performed SYRE songs like his Raury-assisted track, "Falcon" and "Passion." It definitely looks like he was having a dope time, which feels like a pretty accurate way to describe his life up to this time. This past year, he's dropped an album and a barrage of dope visuals, and he's even found time to star in an anime. Amazing.
