Janay Palmer Responds After Video Shows Her Being Knocked Out By Husband

Janay Palmer, the wife of former NFL player Ray Rice, has broken her silence since the video came out that shows her husband knocking her out in an Atlantic City hotel elevator.

Janay did not hold back when she went on to blame THE MEDIA for ruining their life. The moment was captured on Palmer's Instagram account by Chick Hernandez & Janay had this to say:

"I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like I'm mourning the death of my closest friend," she wrote.

"But to have to accept the fact that it's reality is a nightmare in itself. No one knows the pain that the media & unwanted options from the public has caused my family. To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret everyday is a horrible thing. To take something away from the main I love that he has worked his [butt] off for all his life just to gain ratings is a horrific. THIS IS OUR LIFE! What don't you all get. If your intentions were to hurt us, embrrass us, make us feel alone, take all happiness away, you've succeeded on so many levels. Just know we will continue to grow & show the world what real love is! Ravensnation we love you!"

The account was verified by the Baltimore Sun, and noted that the message was made to go public. Since the video was released by TMZ, on Monday, Ray Rice has been let go by the Baltimore Ravens and has been indefinitely suspended from the NFL.
