Janet Jackson's fans can breathe a sigh of relief. The R&B songbird has denied rumors that she's undergoing treatment for throat cancer.

"The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I'm recovering. My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love," read a post on her Instagram page.

The Unbreakable creator also relayed the same message on her Twitter account along with the song “The Great Forever” with lyrics like "Not too pleased with what you're diggin' / I'm just busy livin' my life / Sources say but where ya gettin' it / Don't create the truth you like."

Details of why Jackson postponed her trip were scarce when she announced the setback last month. Jackson only said that she needed "surgery." But it seems that's how the songstress wanted it.

"It was Janet’s wish not to make any further comments about her health," read a tweet on her page. But "because of great concern," she decided to release the statement.

We're happy to hear that Janet doesn't have throat cancer and are eagerly waiting to know when the postponed dates for the U.S. leg of her tour will be after she recovers. In the meantime, check out her messages below.
