One of the most famous lines Jay-Z ever uttered was “I got 99 problems and a b—- ain’t one.” Well, Hova is supposedly turning his back on one of his signature phrases. Although some speculate it may be fake, Jay issued a poem that states he will be removing the “B” word from his vocabulary moving forward now that he is the father to a beautiful little girl named Blue Ivy Carter.

Blue has apparently had a profound effect on dad, inspiring the song ‘Glory‘ and causing him to stop using a word that is often deemed derogatory to females.

According to the NME.com, Jay-Z wrote the following poem, detailing his plans to expunge his lexicon of b—-.

“Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/I didn’t think hard about using the word bitch/I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it/Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it / No man will degrade her, or call her name. I’m so focused on your future, the degradation has passed. I wish you wealth, health and insight. Forever young you may pass. Blue Ivy Carter, my angel.”

We’re not 100 percent sure where, how, why or when NME gained access to this poem or if this edict is official and good-to-go, but the sentiment certainly is touching. If it’s true, Daddy’s Little Girl is changing her pop for the better.

Update: Jay-Z has confirmed that the poem circulating around the Web is fake. He told the Daily News, that the “poem and story are fake.”
