Some may say that, like hip-hop, the NBA only has a few formidable squads. NBA legend and analyst Charles Barkley even said recently "There's probably five games (that are worth) watching top-to-bottom" in reference to the leagues talent disparity. But thanks to the scheduling gods, one of those games took place Wednesday night when the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder and overcame a 17 point deficit in the 4th quarter to win the game 103-98.

As has been the case in recent weeks, Jay Z was on hand at the game with wife Beyonce, and while he wasn't barking at Clippers guard Chris Paul about running the same play four times in a row, he did make his presence felt otherwise. At one point during the game, Jay and Bey were featured on the jumbotron, each breaking out into a small dance for the crowd. Whereas Beyonce keeps it simple, waving and nodding in a wide brim hat, Hov evokes the spirit of Cam Newton by hitting what appears to be a modified seated dab.

A one-time part owner of the Brooklyn Nets, seeing Jay court side is nothing new. Late last month, the Jigga man expanded his game-going posse when Kendrick Lamar was seen sitting next to hip-hop's premier couple as the Clippers took on the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors. Along with the San Antonio Spurs, the Warriors, Clippers and Thunder currently hold the top four seeds in the Western Conference. While the Warriors are on pace for a record setting season, it is largely believed that if they were to fall before the Finals, it would be at the hand of one of those other top teams. With Jay's presence and dab, the Clippers may have an edge in terms of fanbase star power.
