Jeanerette Man Arrested For Pointed A Handgun At Bar Crowd

Early Saturday monring, St. Mary Parish Sheriff's deputies arrested a Jeanerette man for aggravated assault with a firearm.

The deputy was call out to a bar on Highway 182 after a call came in about a fight at the bar.

During the investigation, the deputy found out that 27-year-old Francis Vallot allegedly pointed that gun at the crowd in the bar.

He was taken to the local jail, but later bonded out on a $7,500 bond.
