It's safe to say Jeremy Shockey is the most hated man in the world right now according to the Who Dat Nation, but do Saints fans owe him an apology? Yesterday, Jeremy Shockey was put on Twitter blast by NFL analyst Warren Sapp for being the 'snitch' in the whole Saints bounty scandal that resulted in a one year suspension of New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton.

Today, a screenshot of a text conversation between Shockey and Payton may take the former Saints tight end off of the hook.

Now, in addition to posting this screenshot, Jeremy Shockey has also offered to take a lie detector test, which, to me, is a very "Maury-ish" way to claim your innocence. Plus, everyone knows passing a lie detector tests doesn't necessarily guarantee that anyone is actually telling the truth. It just means they passed the lie detector test.

In my opinion, this screenshot proves that Jeremy Shockey isn't lying just as much as the following screenshot proves that I'll be taking over coaching duties for the New Orleans Saints.

You see, that's not actually Coach Sean Payton. That's Chris Logan. I just changed his name to say Sean Payton. It doesn't take a hacker or a PhotoShop wizard to fabricate this illusion, lol.

Even if the person replying to Shockey in that screenshot is indeed Coach Sean Payton, it doesn't mean he didn't spread the Saints inside info around after he was given the boot out of New Orleans. I may not be 100% sure that Jeremy Shockey is the New Orleans bounty 'snitch' .. but I'm also not 100% sure that he isn't.

I guess we'll never know for sure.

Does this screenshot prove Shockey's innocence? Comment with your thoughts below!
