Jimmy Graham, Saints Agree To Terms On Multi-Year Deal
Today at 3pm was the deadline for Jimmy Graham and the New Orleans Saints to strike a deal on a long-term contract or he could only play for the one year franchise deal.
However, it looks like the crisis has been averted as Jimmy sent out a promising tweet this morning.
We'll follow up as soon as we hear details of what is believed to be a long-term contract making Graham the highest paid tight end in NFL history.
Two years ago New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski signed a 6-year, $53 million contract.
UPDATE: NFL Insider Adam Schefter say the Saints and Graham have agreed on a 4-year deal worth $40 million.
