This has got to be every star's worst nightmare: A teleprompter malfunction at a huge Hollywood event like the 2014 Golden Globes!

Unfortunately for them, it happened to 'Wolf of Wall Street' co-stars Jonah Hill and Margot Robbie when they took the stage to introduce the film. Fortunately for the audience, it happened to Jonah Hill and Margot Robbie! The duo rocked it, triumphing over the glitch with comedic timing that can't be taught.

At first, the pair merely stared. Viewers and celebs alike started to slink down in their seats in second-hand embarrassment. Then, Jonah pointed and said, "I'm not going to lie to you: Right now, they put up the wrong stuff on the Teleprompter." The crowd's nervous laughter turned to actual laughter as the stars riffed.

"This is for Aaron Eckhart and Paula Patton," Hill continued. "And I've never done this before, so I don't want to improvise," said Robbie, well, improvising!

The day was saved when someone offscreen handed them a sheet of paper ... but the presenters weren't done making jokes: "Let's just be real about it. That was not for us," Jonah emphasized. Added Margot, "Maybe it's a joke that they do on rookies like me."

It was no rookie reaction, though -- welcome to Hollywood, Margot!
