Today, a new Air Jordan 1 model has emerged, paying tribute to the first set of shoes Michael Jordan wore in his rookie NBA season. The pair, dubbed “Homage to Home,” features a mash up of two classic Air Jordan 1 colorways that’ll be exclusive to those in the city of Chicago.

Fusing together the Banned and Chicago iterations, Jordan Brand creates an eye-catching silhouette that splits right down the middle of each shoe. With the outer side panels of the sneakers dressed in red and black, the inner side features a white and red make up to complete the look. The Jordan Wing logo is still included on each of the outer panels while the midsole of both sneakers is dipped in a white hue followed by a gym red outsole.

Along with paying tribute to the first set of colorways of the Air Jordan 1, this new version of the sneaker also pays homage to the city of Chicago and their NBA franchise, the Chicago Bulls.

The Air Jordan 1 Homage to Home will serve as an exclusive release to the city of Chicago. Launching at Jordan Brand retailers in the Windy City, the sneakers will retail for a suggested price of $160, and said to be available in limited quantities.
