"Don't Judge em' Joe Brown!" The former TV judge was arrested and sentenced to five days in jail after a meltdown in a Tennessee court.

Memphis officials say the 66-year-old Brown caused an outburst earlier today in a child support hearing which led to being ordered to spend five days in jail. Magistrate Judge Harold "Hal" Horne charged Brown with contempt of court after the ex-TV judge caused what Chief Magistrate Judge Dan Michael described as an unruly scene in the courtroom.

He darn near caused a riot in the courtroom, he had people so inflamed,

The former TV judge was representing a woman who had been brought in on a warrant in a child support case, and according to witnesses, repeatedly yelled and challenged the authority of Horne, "addressing his comments to a crowd of people inside the courtroom."

Brown -- who is running for D.A. of Shelby County -- was reportedly warned several times to calm down, but continued with his abusive behavior. Even after being cited for contempt five times -- each citation carrying a sentence of one day in jail -- Brown continued yelling and screaming as he left the courtroom under his own power.

Brown's nationally syndicated show "Judge Joe Brown" was canceled last year, but was notorious for wild moments much like the one that led to his arrest today. Except, today he was on the wrong side of the bench.

Ironically, the clip below seems VERY similar to Brown's courtroom incident.
