Justin Bieber debuted some new ink over the weekend, showing off his new face tattoo.

The Biebs has over 50 tattoos all over his body, but this is the first tattoo that puts him amongst the likes of Mike Tyson, Lil Wayne, Kevin Gates, ZAYN and other celebs with noticeable face tats.

According to E! News, Justin got the new tat on Saturday at West 4th Tattoo while on the NYC leg of his 'Purpose' tour. Tattoo artist Jonathan "JonBoy" Valena confirmed that he was the man who gave Bieber the tattoo and revealed its meaning.

Yes, I did tattoo a small cross near the corner of Justin's eye. It was a representation of his faith in Jesus and his journey with finding purpose in God.

The tattoo received mix reactions from his fans, with many saying they don't want him to ruin his "beautiful face." Others accused him of getting the tattoo in an attempt to look "harder" than he really is by comparing him to artists who have roots in the toughest neighborhoods of their hometowns.

Even though Bieber was super low key about his tat in an IG post on Sunday, it definitely looks like the real deal.
