Kanye West's bodyguard Steve Stanulis was recently fired by the rapper for reportedly flirting with Kim Kardashian. But the veteran security worker is claiming those allegation is totally false.

Stanulis recently sat down with DailyMail to give his side of the story. He says he has no idea where the accusations came from. According to him, he was on detail to transport the couple to the 2016 Meet Gala. Upon hearing about a request for a change of plans in transportation, Steve says he went to confirm information with Kim when something weird happened.

"As I was walking up to Kim and the room, Kanye came by, down the corner and I guess saw me walking that way towards her," Steve says. "I happened to turn around. And I said, 'Hey, Mr. West, how you doing?' He abruptly went by me, went to the door and slammed the door."

A very brief time later, he was told his services were no longer needed. "I had no intent on hitting on Kim Kardashian. I'm happily married," he adds.

His time with West definitely left a sour taste in his mouth. "I've been blessed throughout my life to meet all kinds of different people," he adds. "I would say [Kanye] is probably the most self absorbed person I've ever met in my life."

Kanye West is definitely a polarizing figure. 'Ye's consultant Scooter Braun recently took up for the rapper saying he is really a good when you get to know him. “I hope the world gets to see the guy that I’ve gotten to know,” he said. “A lot of people have an assumption that he might be selfish or arrogant. The guy who I’ve gotten to know—who I am learning to translate to others—is someone who literally got himself in financial trouble because he would give the shirt off his back to help someone.”
