Kanye West Stops To Hear Aspiring Rapper Freestyle On The Sidewalk [VIDEO]

Kanye West has made headlines over the last week for "Sad Kanye," but even his biggest haters have to give him props for hearing out an aspiring rapper on the streets of New York.

Ye was walking in SoHo with Kim Kardashian and Jonathan Cheban (aka that dude who always just hangs around with Kim) when an amateur rapper rolled up on him and started to spit his rhymes. Paparazzi flocked the crew as the emcee gave Kanye an earful of his flow until they reached his building.

While most people would expect Kanye to blow the guy off and totally focus on his soon-to-be wife, he actually listened and even stopped outside his apartment to let him finish his freestyle! On top of that, Kanye applauded the guy and dapped him up before he parted ways saying he had to get some sleep.

Even though I'm willing to bet this kid felt like all of his dreams came true on that sidewalk, haters are probably watching this video thinking that nothing will ever come of this encounter. G.O.O.D. Music rapper Big Sean would beg to differ, being that he was discovered by Kanye the exact same way outside a radio station in Detroit.

While many would have settled for a selfie, this kid may have just gotten his shot.
