No, Kanye West And Kim Kardashian Aren’t Engaged — It Was Just A $770,000 ‘Push Present’

The rumors that you heard about Kimye naming their newborn daughter North (yes, North West.. get it?) are true. The rumors that you heard about Kimye getting engaged on the other hand, are not. As much as we would love to believe that in the most intense moments of Kim's deliverance of the world's next reality/music genius, Kanye - engulfed with emotion - dropped to one knee and asked to spend the rest of their lives together, it just didn't go down that way.

But there was a ring involved.

According to reports, Kanye gave Kim a ridiculously expensive 'push present' worth nearly a million dollars! For those of you who may be hearing the term 'push present' for the first time, it is exactly what it sounds like: a present that a man gives the mother of his child, for pushing said child out of their womb.

The G.O.O.D. Music rapper reportedly gave Kim K a tiger-stripe diamond ring that he had custom designed over the last few months worth $770,000. In addition to the high priced present, Yeezy has also shelled out the big bucks on manis, pedis and blowouts for Kim during her hospital stay.

But what about those engagement rumors? And photos of the baby? Well, as far as when we'll find out if Kimye is getting hitched or not, Kris Jenner says we'll have to wait until her talk show premieres to find out the juicy details. Also, word on street is that Kanye is already kicking butt at being a great father, and both Kim and Kanye have put work aside to be 100% in it for their new family.

As much as we give these two a hard time, I can't be mad at that.
