Kanye West’s New Album Will Be Accompanied by a Communal Listening Session
Earlier today, the app, which allows users to turn their playlists into self-contained radio stations, announced that they would be providing a "listening session" for Kanye's new album beginning at 12 a.m. EST.
"Tune into G.O.O.D. Music Radio for a communal listening session and discussion - 12 AM ET - download STATIONHEAD to weigh in," wrote Stationhead's official Instagram account in a post from this past afternoon.
With the Stationhead app, which can be downloaded from Apple's app store, users can act as DJ's for their own stations on the app. This would work well with the "discussion" part of this listening session. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Not too much is known about Yeezy's new album, other than Pusha-T's claim that Yeezy's LP would follow in the steps of his Daytona LP and carry seven tracks. Yeezy was, at one point, planning to use an image of the surgeon who performed surgery on his mother Donda as the cover. After the doctor's Yeezy-directed open letter telling the rapper not to use his image, though, it's unclear whether or not that's going to happen.
