Kanye West just put a lot of pressure on himself with one single ambitious tweet.

Earlier today, 'Ye took to Twitter to reveal he will be kicking his musical and fashion exploits into high gear in an attempt to be more productive than he has ever been in his career. In typical West fashion, this seems to be one of his latest attempts to buck norms. "No more fashion calendar... I'm going Mad Max... 6 collections a year...3 albums a year," he tweeted.

West has only dropped eight studio albums in all in a career that spans 12 years. So dropping three albums in one year would definitely be an unprecedented feat for the Chicago entertainer.

It might not be that huge of a task, however. He already has one album (sort of) in the books for 2016 with The Life of Pablo. A couple weeks ago, he revealed he was already working on the follow up which will be titled Turbo Grafx 16, for now. The title is an homage to one of West's favorite retro gaming systems. “Just on some super nerd vibes," he tweeted.

It's only March so it is plausible that he could come up with two more complete projects before the ball drops in 2017. But knowing Yeezy's perfectionist ways and seeing as it was three years between his last two albums, it seems like a less than likely scenario. Then throw in not four but six clothing collections. Sheesh. Hopefully he hasn't bitten off more than he can chew.
