Kanye West may be a famous celebrity with a hot wife, but that doesn’t mean he does not face the same struggles as most black men in America.

According to a deposition obtained by TMZ, regarding West's July 2013 paparazzi attack, Yeezy claims he was slammed with felony charges back in 2000, when he was a platinum producer. 'Ye claims the charges were a result of racial profiling “for having a white T-shirt and braids."

In the documents, the G.O.O.D. Music leader explains how the police arrested him (from a location he did not reveal) for allegedly stealing printers from an Illinois-area Office Depot (formerly OfficeMax).

The ‘Yeezus’ creator even went on to disclose how cops may have distorted evidence in the original police report. "I was driving a white Ford Expedition. When I saw the police report, they crossed out where it said 'Cream Ford Explorer," he said in the deposition.Yikes!

When the opposing lawyer questioned the rapper's claims he responded back, "I'm sure that wasn't in the charge that you were...a platinum producer." To which West fired back, "Yeah, I believe so. I think that's what -- I think that's what -- where America had me at that time for having braids."
