Kanye West raised a lot of eyebrows when he announced that he was only casting multiracial women to model his upcoming Yeezy Season 4 collection. Some say the move is the politically correct way to say "no white women allowed," while others say it's a cheap way to exclude black models from the show, perpetuating a history of colorism in America. You can check out what some of them had to say in the gallery above.

One Twitter user seemingly brought Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian-West into it, writing "This Kanye West casting call is no surprise considering this man thinks sleeping with white women is the key to ending racism." Another one continued that idea, writing "In a Kanye West world there is no place for black women ... that's been obvious for some time."

A lot of fans have bashed Kanye's move, for sure, but some have supported it. Those who believe in what Yeezy's doing pointed out that ostensibly black women were featured  prominently during the rapper's Yeezy Season 3 show, thus shutting down the idea that the he prefers light-skinned women. Others have simply said that we should believe in Kanye's decision just because.

Kanye himself hasn't offered much of an explanation for his decision, but we're pretty sure he'll give one at some point in the near future. Don't be surprised to see him do so during one of the stops in his Saint Pablo tour. Keep it locked with XXL for more updates on Kanye and his upcoming Yeezy Season 4 collection.
