Last night (Sept. 7), Kanye West set the rap world on fire when he announced that Tyga was the latest signee to G.O.O.D. Music.

But despite their long-standing relationship, people on social media swore the move was due to Kanye caving to pressure from his wife Kim Kardashian, whose sister Kylie Jenner has been dating Tyga for awhile.

Now TMZ reports that Kanye's decision to sign the "Rack City" rapper was strictly based on business and music, not because of any connection to the Kardashians. They claim Yeezy and Tyga have had a strong friendship for years now. "Kanye doesn't take on ANY artist or project he doesn't believe in personally," reports TMZ.

This should be obvious, though, seeing how Kanye executive produced Tyga's last LP The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. People seem hellbent on denying Tyga his credit, despite having multiple hit songs to his name.

At last night's G.O.O.D. Music pop-up show in NYC, Tyga came out and performed a new collab with Desiigner called "Gucci Snakes." Today the song came out in full. You can listen to it here.

Tyga is said to be featured on the upcoming Cruel Winter compilation, which Travis Scott says we can expect around February of next year.
