MTV's annual Hottest MCs List has some folks hot under the collar -- namely, Kanye West. The G.O.O.D. Music head honcho was placed at No., a spot he was none too pleased with.

An angry West called Hot 97's the Angie Martinez Show Tuesday (March 5) to express his opinion about his placement on the tally -- he also came in under fellow artist Big Sean, who locked down a No. 6 position. While Yeezy commended Sean for his accomplishments -- including "bodying" songs with his verses on 'Clique' and 'Mercy' -- he felt he should have been placed higher on the list. 'Ye also believes that Lil Wayne is the best rapper in the game, period.

"Yeah, No. 7 bothers me," he told DJ Enuff, who was filling in for Angie. "I think Wayne is the No. 1 rapper in the world."

"For me, I feel like in order for them to put me [at No. 7] they had to bring up things that they didn't like. They didn't like the 'Cruel Summer' album. I'm like, that's a compilation it ain't all rappers on G.O.O.D. Music. I mean 'Cruel Summer' got the 'Don't Like' remix, 'Mercy,' 'Cold,' 'New God Flow,' you know? And 'Clique'! You can't name five records like that on any album," he continues. "They don't like Givenchy Kanye. They don't like Kanye in a kilt. They don't like Kanye in a relationship."

West then went on to blast MTV personality Sway and revealed that he gave him his first TV, all before he hung up the phone. "I didn't really want to call to talk about the [Hottest MC] list, I just want to tell everybody, I gave Sway his first TV," he shared. "And he needs to remember that." Click.
