Last year, Pope Francis sold $540,000 worth of merchandise during his speech at Madison Square Garden. According to TMZ, Kanye West just beat out the Pope – sources close to Yeezy's camp tell the publication he sold $780,000 worth of gear on Monday night (Sept. 5).

The Chicago artist already dropped a song about jumping over the Jumpman in terms of sneaker sales. Is 'Ye about to record a song about pocketing more dough than the Pope from merchandise sales? Only time will tell, but don't be surprised if something of that nature actually comes to fruition.

You can check out the actual merch that 'Ye sold right here. The Life of Pablo rapper is selling a bunch of fresh hoodies, t-shirts and long-sleeve tees. The gear contains a new version of “SAINT PABLO” graphics on the front and back of the apparel. Kanye also gave the clothes more of a custom look, adding the specific tour date of each city he stops in. Along with the new merch collection, Kanye dug into his archives and re-released the tribute tees to his mother, the late Donda West, and Rob Kardashian.

Also, it's worth watching some of the footage from the St. Pablo Tour. For example, peep this video of fellow Chicagoan Vic Mensa go crazy to "Don't Like," "All Day" and "All of the Lights."

In case you missed it, be sure to check out the official remix of Desiigner's smash hit, "Timmy Turner." The new version features a guest verse from none other than Mr. Louis Vuitton Don himself. Desiigner originally dropped the track as part of his 2016 XXL Freshman freestyle.
