Update:

2 Chainz, Desiigner, Travis Scott and Pusha T all showed up at SOBs, but Mike Dean is telling people to come to Trump SoHo.

Original Story:

Kanye West had New York City going insane tonight (June 5) after making a surprise announcement that he'd be performing at Webster Hall tonight.

The announcement came after the first day of Governor's Ball was cancelled due to inclement weather. Kanye was scheduled to perform, and soon after word of the festival's cancellation got out, Scooter Braun, consigliere and close friend to Kanye, left an Instagram comment saying "stay tuned."

XXL was outside of Webster hall as the line began to wrap around the city block. Soon masses of people were pushing each other at the entrance, and at one point Pusha T was seen sneaking into the front door.

Webster Hall staff repeatedly told the crowd that the show had been cancelled, but no one listened until polce reinforcements arrived and began barricading people to Third and Second Ave. (Webster Hall is on 11th Street between Third and Fourth.)

But fans were seen running to Third Ave., where Kanye and Travis Scott were seen cruising down the block as 'Ye stuck his torso out of the front of the truck he was in. Stans swarmed the vehicle, and you can see footage above and below.

Kim Kardashian was live streaming on her app and told fans the night was over, but soon after Travis Scott tweeted that they were still trying to figure the show out. Kanye West was seen talking to someone asking to tell the mayor to shut down entire city blocks. See that below as well.

No news yet on whether the show is still on as of 3 A.M. E.S.T., but seems like it's not happening. XXL will update this post as we learn more.
