Here's an announcement worthy of a royal congratulations -- Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting their second child!

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child," Buckingham Palace announced in a statement today, Sept. 8 (quote via PEOPLE). "The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news."

Unfortunately for Middleton, she is once again suffering from the same kind of severe morning sickness that plagued her during her pregnancy with baby Prince George, now 1.

"As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum," the statement continued. "Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace."

Despite the morning sickness, we have no doubt that Kate Middleton and Prince William are overjoyed to be expanding their family, seeing as how unbelievably adorable they are with baby George.

The soon-to-be prince or princess (already dubbed by tabloids as the "spare to the heir") will be fourth in line for the throne.

Congratulations to the Royal Family!
