Kendrick Lamar is the opening act for Kanye West's Yeezus Tour, which stopped by Brooklyn, N.Y. and New York last week. But the Compton rapper also had time to fly to Los Angeles to perform at the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday (Nov. 24).

The 26-year-old artist didn't show any signs of bitterness after losing the Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album award to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Lamar smoothly performed fan favorite cuts 'Poetic Justice' and 'Swimming Pools (Drank)' from his classic debut album, 'good kid, m.A.A.d city.' New TDE signee SZA performed side-by-side with K.Dot, which is a good look for her in terms of mainstream exposure.

Lamar had the audience on its feet and even had country songstress Taylor Swift grooving along to his rhyme flow. In the end, Compton kid done 'good' at the AMAs last night.

Kendrick Lamar will rejoin West on the Yeezus tour on Nov. 27 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
