Kid Cudi has never been one to fit in to rap's traditional norms – one of the major reasons he's attracted such a loyal fan base throughout the years. On Sunday (June 12), Cudder took to Twitter (view the tweets below) and spoke out on homophobia in the hip-hop community. The comments came in light of the worst mass shooting in U.S. history, in which 50 people were gunned down at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando.

The "Day 'N Nite" rapper kindly asks any homophobic followers to unfollow him, then proceeds to voice his solidarity with the gay community by stating, "God hates no one." According to Cudi, homophobia has long been an issue in the hip-hop industry, and now the Cleveland artist is setting out to change some of these norms. He tweeted, "The Hip Hop community is the least outspoken about gay rights and Ima go out my way to change that."

In music-related news, the man on the moon recently announced that he was in the studio with Houston rapper Travi$ Scott. It's unclear exactly what they were cooking up, but it's likely they were collaborating on a track for one of Cudi's two new albums set to drop this summer. Information is scarce about the Cleveland MC's forthcoming projects, but we know that one will be called Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin. Could the other body of work be the highly anticipated Man on the Moon 3?
