Several parents are upset in the Edmonds School District after several students were suspended for bringing Nerf Guns onto the school campus. The catch though, a teacher told them that they could bring the Nerf Guns onto the campus.

A teacher allegedly gave students permission to bring the Nerf Guns to school to test probability. However, the kids engaged in some Nerf Gun fun prior to class, and that's when the school stepped in and offered up this form of discipline.

Parents acknowledge that they school has the right to discipline the kids for their actions, but they feel that the punishment is too steep. After all, the kids were given permission to bring these type "guns" to school, but who is in the wrong?

We know that most school districts have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to violence on the campus, but did the school over react in this case? Let us know who you think is in the wrong here.
