Kodak Black's lawyer does not believe her client will face any jail time despite being found guilty of five counts of violating his house arrest earlier this week.

Raven Ramona Liberty, the rapper's lawyer, told Bossip that she expects Kodak to perform at every date on Future's Nobody's Safe Tour, which starts next week.

“I have the utmost faith in God that he will be out on the fourth and will start the tour,” Liberty said. “Fortunately he has the money to pay for attorneys. But this happens all the time to young men in his situation. I don’t think sitting in jail is the correct punishment.”

Kodak is scheduled to return to court on May 4, the same day the Nobody's Safe Tour begins. Prosecutors are seeking a maximum prison sentence of six years, but Kodak's probation officer has not recommended that he serve any more jail time.

According to Liberty, Kodak's probation officer recommended counseling and anger management classes. If Kodak does not receive a jail time, his probation will likely be reinstated, extended or modified at the upcoming hearing.

The Florida rapper was facing a possible sentence of eight years in prison after being accused of assaulting a bartender, but witness testimony forced prosecutors to back off these efforts. Witnesses said Kodak's accuser was boasting about touching his genitals. Miami-Dade detective D.D. Rollins also revealed that the case is still open because the alleged victim has to meet with her about the accusations.
