Three well known speakers will be coming to Lafayette on Thursday, November 14th for the first of a series of events from NewsTalk 96.5 Kpel called, "The Conversation".

The District at 4607 B Johnston Street will be the site of the November's event.

This year's speakers will be Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Scott Angelle, 'The Voice of Louisiana' - Moon Griffon and Fox News and Commentator Todd Starnes.

The event kicks off that Thursday evening with a "meet and great" event with ticket holders where you can spend one on one time with each of the guest speakers.

Todd Starnes, the author of two books, will offer an opportunity to purchase a book and have it signed.

The first speaker for the event that evening with be Public Service Commissioner Scott Angelle.  He plans to speak about energy and its impact on our economy.

In celebration of our fifteen years syndicating "The Moon Griffon Show", show host Moon Griffon will be the second speaker in our "Conversation" lineup.  This conservative talk show host plans to share with the audience his experiences, interviews he's conducted, and variety of amusing stories from his years broadcasting in Louisiana.

Our final act of the night will feature Fox News and commentator Todd Starnes.  He was born in Mississippi, raised in Louisiana, and now lives in "a liberal enclave of Brooklyn".  He is the author of two books, "They Popped My Hood And Found Gravy On My Dipstick" and "Dispatches From Bitter America".  The first book chronicles his adventure having a mechanical heart valve put into his heart, while the second work touches on a variety of political observations about America today.  Starnes will have several copies of his books for sale, and you can have them autographed.

Tickets may now be purchased at the Kpel studio at 1749 Bertrand Drive.  Tickets may be purchased from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  All sales at the studio are cash only, and you must have exact change.  No bills larger than $20 will be accepted.
