You never turn your back on the family. Just ask Kris Jenner. The day after Jenner hosted The E! Oscars Pre-show (Feb. 28), she sat down with daytime's favorite comedian Ellen DeGeneres to recap the night and give an update on her famous family. When Ellen turned the conversation to Jenner's son-in-law Kanye West, Kris made a point to address the rappers' recent Twitter rants.

"There should be days when there should be a no-tweeting law," laughed Jenner. "I feel like I'll ground him."

But jokes aside, Jenner was quick to defend 'Ye's sporadic behavior lately.

"What he was saying was that's what he's done to spend on his clothing line over fifteen or twenty years, whatever it's been." explained the reality TV matriach. "But it comes out not exactly the right way, then people get it misconstrued through the media...it's complicated."

Kanye has been popping off on the social media site a lot in 2016. From changing the title of his album three times, to starting a social media feud with Wiz Khalifa to saying he's $53 million in debt and begging Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to invest $1 billion in his ideas, the usually elusive rapper has beem on a TMI binge all year long. These rants have caused quite the stir in the media. Some fans think they're just to create buzz for his latest album The Life of Pablo while others are convinced 'Ye has lost his mind. A report even came out last week that Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian, wants Yeezy to go into therapy to resolve some of his deep-seated issues.

But although Kanye has been known to fly off the hinge from time to time, he is family to Kris. So of course, the 60-year-old momager ended the interview topic by saying that he "loves" Ellen.
