Monsters! Navy! Bad news for you guys. Lady Gaga has denied that she and Rihanna collaborated on an 'ARTPOP' track, despite the teasing tweets that the pop divas exchanged.

Let the gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands begin. Ugh! Bumout Fest 2013 has begun.

While answering fan questions during a Q+A with KIIS-FM, Gaga dashed dreams and crushed hopes with a single sentence. "Well, no, that's not true," Gaga said without hesitation. "But, I mean, it's a rumor, I guess. It's a good rumor. I like Rihanna, so, it's just not true."

Gaga also paid some props to RiRi, saying, "Well, Rihanna is wonderful and I always like hanging out with her when I see her."

Notice that Gaga said that they did not collaborate on an 'ARTPOP' track. Maybe they did so on something else? We can dream, can't we? Yeah we can.

Or maybe Ma Monster is being coy and throwing us off the scent. This would not be the first time a celeb denied something that turned out to be true. So there is still a smidge of hope.

Another thing besides Rihanna that's not on 'ARTPOP?' She said that 'Princess Di' is not going to be on the proper album but it will likely be on the app.

"There will be a lot of free music on the app and a free Arthouse program where you can create your own artifacts, and [it'll be] a very artistic GIF experience," she said.
