Yet Another Update To The Lafayette Parish School Bus Driver Curses Neighbor Story [CAUTION: NSFW LANGUAGE]

I just got off of the phone with a woman who claims to know more about this story.  She did have information about some of the people involved that, in my mind, gave her an air of credibility.  Here's what she said:

• The owner of the property IS the gentleman behind the camera in the video below.  He is a contractor, building the house to sell to the woman who called me.
• The lot s stood empty for years, so the neighbors could park in that "dead end" area without any problems.  Two weeks ago, there was a camper and the bus parked there.
• The owners of the vehicles were asked to move them because the property was being sold.  The camper was moved, but the bus continues to park in that area.
• The story in the letter (below) that was submitted to the LPSB office, according to the woman on the phone, was fabricated by one of the neighbors who is friends with the bus driver.
• The contractor, according to two people I spoke with, is very professional, and would not use the language alleged in the letter.

Remember, the above information was given to me as the "rest" of the story, so-to-speak.  I am curious to see how this one plays out!

UPDATE:  We received a copy of a letter that was anonymously delivered to the LPSB office, indicating that the bus has been parking there for several years.  Also, an official with the LPSB says that the person filming the video is NOT the neighbor, but is a contractor hired by the property owner.

According to our source at LPSB, the following letter is just one of 9 statements backing the bus driver's story:

Now that you've seen the letter, do you believe that the bus driver was out of line with her response in the video?  It's obvious that the contractor was out of line with his comments, but do  you think that the bus driver should have turned the other cheek, or do you agree with her response?

ORIGINAL STORY:

This video, taken by a resident in Lafayette Parish who is upset that his neighbor parks her bus in front of his driveway, was posted to Facebook.  (CAUTION: very not-safe-for-work-or-children language)

As you can see, once confronted about the situation, the school bus driver allegedly curses the neighbor.

A spokesman for the Lafayette Parish School Board office says that they are aware of the situation, and an investigation is under way.
