This is one fest that Lafayette needed, and finally will have.

Coming this spring, Lafayette will host its first ever Po'Boy Fest on April 2nd at Parc Sans Souci. This is a perfect place for it and the perfect time of year. The weather is always great during April in south Louisiana.

The owner of Jefferson Street Pub in downtown Lafayette, Gus Rezende along with Collin Cormier, and Zach Doise of Pop's Po'boys came up with this idea. There will be several things there to attract the attention of tourists and locals like, the world's longest po'boy, activities for the kids and 15 different po'boy venders.

As far as music and entertainment, Roddie Romero and the Hub City All-Stars will be there so you can get your dance on.

If you want to be part of the fest they're still looking for more vendors. You can reach out to them on their Facebook page by CLICKING HERE.
