Lafayette Police To Shut Down Ambassador Caffery At Dulles For Investigation

Lafayette police will shut down the intersection of Ambassador Caffery Parkway at Dulles Drive beginning at 1 p.m. this afternoon to allow for the traffic investigation into a drunk driving crash that killed one person at that intersection earlier this week.

According to police department spokesperson Cpl. Paul Mouton, drivers will be detoured around the area, and the intersection is expected to remain closed for one hour.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area, Mouton said.
