The official YouTube channel of United States Tourism recently featured both Lake Charles and Lafayette in their "Flavors of the USA" series, defining the cities as "two delectable stops on Louisiana's culinary trails" - and we couldn't agree more!

Describing Lake Charles as having "a thriving arts and culture scene, and an absolute dream for those who love the outdoors", hostess Caroline Amiguet stops by Seafood Palace at 2218 Enterprise Boulevard to sample some locally-raised crawfish provided by manager Tammy Harrington.

Spoiler alert: She loved it!

In Lafayette, the happiest city in America, Caroline visits Social Southern Table and Bar at 3901 Johnston Street, where chef Marc Krampe reveals how and why the food culture is so important in the area, explaining that the great thing about Creole and Cajun food is how they're melting pots of flavors from many different cultures.
