A letter that LaPlace Elementary sent home with students includes a typo that has some parents very upset.

The letter encouraged students to wear Mardi Gras SHIRTS for dress down day—but one missing letter in the word "shirt" has some parents taking to the web to voice their frustration.

The letter has been making its rounds on Facebook, and one could only imagine the reaction of the parents if by some chance they asked their kids to read this out loud to them.

Some parents dismissing it as a typo, but others are very angry and can't believe that this was sent home with their kids.

Is this nearly as bad or are parents being way too dramatic? Let us know!
